About
I am a photographer and multimedia journalist from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. My work has appeared in numerous publications such as the Utne Reader, The Walrus, Explore Magazine, The Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star and The Riverbones, a travel memoir on Suriname by Andrew Westoll.
Recently, my photographs won the Orion Magazine award at the 2009 Our World Portfolio Review for a portfolio that best that fits the mission of Orion magazine, which is to deepen an understanding of our relationships with the natural world.
Between travels I have been fortunate enough to study with some wonderful mentors – Larry Fink, Jay Maisel, David H. Wells, George Lepp, Geoff White and Aura McKay. Though primarily freelance, I also spent a year and a half working as a commercial photographer for VRX Studios in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
My present focus is on multimedia and extended documentary projects in Latin America. I am currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina and am available for assignments worldwide.
